SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT CONDUCTS A HOUSE WARMING CEREMONY

A house constructed under the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to Leading Aircraftman Jayaweera JMDB yesterday (18 June 2024) and the house warming ceremony was held at Rathkarauwa, Haputhale. The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The dedicated staff of the Civil Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake undertook the construction work, with funding from the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit. This project was executed under the guidance of the Director General Construction Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Chandana Geethapriya and supervised by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Combat Training School  Diyatalawa, Air Commodore Hiyumal Dharmadasa.

The event was attended by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa, senior members of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, the staff of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and a cross-section of officers and other ranks of SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa.
