The Annual Islamic Religious Ceremony of the SLAF was held at the Kollupitiya Jummah Mosque this morning (22 July 2024). The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, graced the event as the Chief Guest. The event was organized by the Directorate of Welfare and meticulously coordinated by SLAF Base Ratmalana.

The officiating Mowlavi invoked blessings and prayed to almighty Allah on behalf of the souls of all the brave men of the Sri Lanka Air Force who made the supreme sacrifice for the defence of the motherland.

Further, blessings of almighty Allah were bestowed upon all ranks presently serving in the Air Force during the ceremony.

Among the guests in attendance were the Deputy Chief of Staff, Members of the Air Force Board of Management, senior officers, a cross section of other ranks and the beloved family members of the fallen war heroes.
