The 8th South Asian Karate Championship, organized by the South Asian Karate Federation (SAKF), took place in Bhutan from  11 to 21 July2024. The tournament featured four weight categories across cadet, junior, under-21 and senior divisions. A total of 244 karatekas from Bhutan, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka participated in the event.

The SLAF team achieved notable success, securing one Gold, four Silver and one Bronze medal in both Individual Kumite and Team Kumite events.
