SLAF Station Iranamadu celebrated its 13th anniversary today (03 August 2024). The formation day celebration commenced with the customary working parade. Commanding Officer, Group Captain DGPL Jayathilaka, addressed all officers, airmen and civil staff of the station by giving tributes to those who had commanded the station previously.

 In line with the anniversary celebration, the staff restroom at Wattakacchi Hospital was renovated. Further, a tree planting programme was conducted focusing on a healthy environment. Beside that, cricket and football matches were organized to build harmony among the servicemen with the participation of all officers and other rankers of station. The anniversary celebration concluded with an all-ranks lunch.
