The finals of Inter Unit Netball Championship 2024 were held yesterday (08 August 2024) at SLAF Health Management Center, Colombo. The Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa graced the finals and awarding ceremony as the chief guest. President Seva Vanitha Unit of Sri Jayawardenapura, Mrs. Anusha Darshi, Chairperson SLAF Netball Pool, Air Commodore Sureka Dias, Director Sports, Air Commodore Samanatha Weerasekera, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sri Jayawardenapura, Air Commodore Ruwan Chandima and members of the Air Force Sports Council attended to witness the finals.

SLAF Academy China Bay clinched the Inter Unit Netball Championship 2024 beating SLAF Base Ratmalana by 19-14 in the finals. Lady officer Cadet Wickremasinghe PDJA was adjudged Best Shooter while Flying Officer Chanchala Madushani became the Best Defence who represented SLAF Academy China Bay. Flight Lieutenant Manushi de Silva of SLAF Base Ratmalana emerged as the Best Centre Court Player.

Flight Lieutenant Jayani Hewapathirana of SLAF Academy China Bay was crowned as the Netball Queen of the Inter Unit Netball Championship 2024.
