SLAF ACADEMY CHINA BAY HOSTS ‘AERO BASH 2024’ EDUCATIONAL, TECHNICAL AND TRADE EXHIBITION

The 'AERO BASH 2024' educational, technical and trade exhibition, organized by the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay, commenced today (22 August 2024) under the auspices of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa. The exhibition will continue until 26 August 2024 at the Academy premises.

The exhibition features booths from all state and private universities, as well as business and technical institutions from across the island. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of demonstrations, including parachute jumps by the SLAF, firefighting demonstrations, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) demonstrations, dog shows and more.

A highlight of 'AERO BASH 2024' is the ‘Tandem Jump’ adventure sport, available for the first time in the Trincomalee area. This unique experience is open to adventure enthusiasts, as well as both local and international tourists.

The exhibition opens daily at 3:00 p.m., with a range of activities planned for the evening, including trade shows and musical concerts organized by the Air Force to entertain all attendees.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
