‘AERO BASH 2024’ EDUCATIONAL, TECHNICAL AND TRADE EXHIBITION CONCLUDES ON A POSITIVE NOTE

The five-day endeavor of the 'AERO BASH 2024', meticulously organized and held at Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay, culminated yesterday (26 August 2024) on a note of remarkable success. This initiative was dedicated to spreading joy and knowledge at the all attendees, with a particular focus on nurturing the minds of younger generation in the Trincomalee area.
Thousands of attendees experienced a range of demonstrations, including parachute jumps by the SLAF, firefighting demonstrations, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) demonstrations, Dog Shows, Musical Concerts over the course of five days. On the opening day of the ‘Aero Bash 2024’, adventure enthusiasts could experience the thrill of Tandem Jumps for the first time in Trincomalee and the total event ended with participants leaving with unforgettable memories and experiences.
The final day of the ‘Aero Bash 2024’ was honoured by the presence of one of the former commanders Air Chief Marshal Kapila Jayampathy as the chief guest, Director General Administration Air Vice Marshal Manoaj Keppetipola and Senior DIG Ajith Rohana.
