LADY OFFICER CADET SAVINDI JMS HONORED FOR OUTSTANDING INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa honoured Lady Officer Cadet Savindi JMS today, 28 August 2024 at Air Force Headquarters for her exemplary performances at the 4th CISM Military World Cadet Games held in Venezuela, organized by the International Military Sports Council (CISM).
Lady Officer Cadet Savindi JMS, a key member of the SLAF Women’s Water Polo Team, distinguished herself by winning two bronze medals in the 50m freestyle and 100m backstroke events. She competed against participants from leading countries, including Russia, China, and Venezuela, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication.
