The delegation from the National Defence College of India paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters this morning (02 September 2024). The delegation consists of 21 Officers and 13 spouses, headed by Mr. Shri Vijay Nehra, The Joint Secretary and Senior Directing Staff of National Defence College of India.

The senior members of the delegation made a courtesy call to the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa and had cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest after which official plaques were exchanged to mark the occasion.

Subsequently, a presentation was conducted by Air Commodore Nipuna Thanippuliarachchi, The Director Air Operations of Sri Lanka Air Force on ‘Role and Task of the Sri Lanka Air Force’ and interactive question and answer session was held with the participation of the Senior Staff Officers of the SLAF Directorates.
