NO. 01 OFFICERS FLIGHT SAFETY COURSE OF SLAF - 2024

The No. 01 Officers Flight Safety Course was
successfully completed yesterday (03 September 2024) at the Air Force
Museum Auditorium, SLAF Base Ratmalana. Making the opening note, the
Director Flight Safety, Air Commodore AV Jayasekera, emphasized the aim
of the course and its expectations to the course participants.
The Flight Safety Course was organized by the Flight Safety Inspectorate of SLAF to inculcate flight safety awareness among the officers who are directly and indirectly engaged in Air Operations of SLAF. A total of 12 Officers consisting of General Duties Pilot, Aeronautical & General Engineering, Operations Air, Electronics Engineering, Logistic, Regiment, Medical, Civil Engineering and Administration branches participated in the course, which was conducted for a period of 01 month.
The certificates were awarded by Chief Flight Safety Inspector (Flying) Group Captain JS Samarasekara during the closing address.
