The Annual General Meeting (AGM)-2024 of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was held today (13 September 2024) at the Horizon auditorium of Air Force Headquarters Sri Jayawardenepura. The AGM was chaired by the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa and attended by its senior members: spouses of the Air Force Board of Management, Presidents and the Officers-in-Charge of the SLAF Academy, Bases and Stations, together with coordinators and warrant officers in charge of the respective Seva Vanitha Units.

The event commenced with the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Anthem, followed by the welcome address by the Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit. This was followed by the reading of minutes of the previous AGM by the Secretary SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Squadron Leader Viludani Yatawara. Thereafter, the Treasurer Seva Vanitha Unit, Squadron Leader Manuja Adikari read the financial reports pertaining to the year 2023/2024.

Officers in charge of Seva Vanitha Units of SLAF establishments briefed the projects conducted at camp level and project plans for the year 2025.

In addition, several video clips portraying the services, special projects and Community Service Responsibilities conducted by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit were presented to the audience.
