BANGLADESH ARMED FORCES WAR COURSE VISITS AIR FORCE HEADQUARTERS

The delegation from the Bangladesh Armed Forces War Course paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters today (19 September 2024). The delegation consists of 21 officers, headed by the Commandant of the National Defence College, Lieutenant General Mohomad Shaheenul Haque. The senior members of the delegation made a courtesy call to the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa and had cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest, after which official plaques were exchanged to mark the occasion. The delegation was accompanied by Defence Attaché Bangladesh, Commodore M. Moniruzzaman.

Subsequently, a presentation was conducted by Group Captain Vajira Jayakodi, the Director Air Defence of Sri Lanka Air Force, on ‘Role and Task of the Sri Lanka Air Force’ and an interactive question and answer session was held with the participation of members of the Air Force Board Management and Senior Staff Officers of the SLAF Directorates. 

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
