SLAF COMMANDER DECLARED OPEN NEWLY RENOVATED HOLIDAY HOMES AT SLAF STATION PALALY

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, declared open the newly renovated Warrant Officers’ and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers’ Holiday Home, as well as the Airmen and Airwomen Holiday Home, at SLAF Station Palaly today (11 October 2024). This project was designed and constructed by the Civil Engineering Staff at SLAF Station Palaly, who successfully completed the renovations within an impressive timeframe of two months.

The ceremony was attended by the Director General Welfare, Air Vice Marshal Thushara Sirimanna, Air Commodore Buddhika Piyasiri, Group Captain Chaminda Herath, the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palaly, Group Captain Ananda Kumarasiri, along with various officers and a cross-section of airmen from the Station.


Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
