SECOND DAY OF ‘TECHNO 2024’ EXHIBITION COMMENCES UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF COMMANDER OF THE AIR FORCE

The second day of the 'Techno 2024’ National Engineering and Technology Exhibition commenced today (12 October 2024) at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), under the distinguished participation of the Commander of the  Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa as the chief guest, who is both an aviator and a qualified engineer.

The ‘Techno 2024’ exhibition, which was inaugurated yesterday (11 October 2024) is organized annually by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL). This prestigious event is a significant platform to inspire and cultivate the next generation of innovators. With the theme ‘Engineering, The Path to Prosperity' the exhibition aims to encourage dialogue, promote the exchange of knowledge and enhance cooperation in the field of engineering and technology.

The second day opening ceremony was attended by the President IESL, Tri-forces Engineers and other officials. ‘Techno 2024’ not only showcases cutting-edge engineering innovations but also a forum for collaboration among industry professionals, academics and aspiring engineers, all working together to drive technological advancements for the country's future development.
