A ‘Guwan Mithudam' Community Service Project, organized by the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport, successfully concluded at Abhayaraja Primary School- Andiambalama yesterday (30 October 2024).  The event was graced by the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore GSN Priyadarshana as the Chief Guest and officially handed over the newly constructed ablution block to the Principal of Abhayaraja Primary School.

The project was coordinated by the Officer In-Charge of Station Seva Vanitha Unit, Squadron Leader JPND Weerasooriya and Officer In-Charge of Works, Flight Lieutenant MADLT Munasinghe. The Seva Vanitha Unit at Air Force Headquarters fully funded the project with labour assistance provided by SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport.

Officers and other ranks of SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport and representatives from the school community, including the Principal, teachers, parents and students participated for the occasion.
