CRM PROGRAMME FOR AIRCREW MEMBERS OF THE 10TH MINUSCA UN CONTINGENT

To enhance awareness and understanding of Crew Resource Management (CRM), the Flight Safety Inspectorate organized a CRM Training Programme for aircrew personnel selected for deployment on the 10th MINUSCA mission to the Central African Republic.
The programme commenced on 06 November 2024 with an opening address by Chief Flight Safety Inspector (Flying), Group Captain JS Samarasekara. The programme held at the 61 Flight lecture hall at SLAF Base Ratmalana. The three-day training was conducted from 06 to 08 November 2024. Thirteen officers and ten airmen participated in the sessions, which were led by resource personnel Wing Commander TP De Silva, Wing Commander DL Colombage, Wing Commander MNRS Gunawardane and Wing Commander TDE Kodituwakku.
The training concluded with a closing address by Flight Safety Inspector (Fixed Wing), Wing Commander MBGT Dias, who also presented certificates to the participants in recognition of their successful completion of the course.
