NO. 03 COURSE OF NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE GRADUATION CONCLUDES IN A SUCCESSFUL NOTE

The Graduation ceremony of the prestigious National Defence College (NDC) Course No.03 was held at the National Defence College premises today (18 November 2024). The Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) , graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest was received by the Commandant of National Defence College, Major General Sujeewa Senerath Yapa (Retd).
Course No. 03 commenced on 16 January 2024 and a total of 41 Officers comprising of 16 Officers from the Sri Lanka Army, eight Officers from the Sri Lanka Navy, six Officers from the Sri Lanka Air Force, three Officers from Sri Lanka Police and eight Officers from foreign nations graduated on the occasion upon successful completion of the year-long course with the qualification of ‘National Defence Course' ndc an acronym for post-nominal. The parchments were conferred on all graduates who have achieved accreditation during the ceremony.
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, participated in the event. Further, the Chief of Defence Staff, Commanders of the Army and Navy, acting Inspector General of Police, Vice Chancellor General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Members of the Board of Management of the NDC, Members of the Academia, senior officers of the Tri services and Police and also Spouses of the graduates attended the ceremony.
