The Seva Vanitha Unit of Sri Lanka Air Force Station in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte organized an event on 19 November 2024 at Gangodavila Balika Niwasa, Delkanda. The programme included an evening tea and snacks for the children, along with donations of raincoats, sweets, dry rations, cleaning supplies and stationery. This initiative was guided by the President Seva Vanitha Unit at SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura, Mrs. Anusha Dharshi, and coordinated by the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore HWR Chandima.

The event was attended by the Officer in Charge of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Harshani Katugampala,  along with committee members, the matron and staff of the Balika Niwasa.
