The Jaffna District Chess Association successfully organized a five-day International Chess Tournament from 30 November to 04 December 2024. The event attracted nearly 1,000 players competing across rated and non-rated categories. The SLAF Chess Team, comprising five skilled players, delivered an outstanding performance and secured the position of 1st Runners-up in the Government/Mercantile category.
