SLAF WOMEN’S HANDBALL TEAM PERFORMS AT COLA WEST WAVES & WINGS BEACH HANDBALL TOURNAMENT
The Cola West Waves & Wings Beach Handball Tournament, organized by Rotaract Colombo West, concluded today (08 December 2024) at Mt. Lavinia Beach.
The SLAF Women’s Team emerged as the Champions of the tournament, securing a hard-fought victory against the Sri Lanka Army in the finals. Demonstrating exceptional skill, teamwork and determination, the SLAF team proved their dominance in the game.
Adding to the team's accolades, Leading Aircraftwoman Munidasa MS was named the ‘Best Player’ of the tournament for her consistent performance and pivotal contributions throughout the competition. Meanwhile, Aircraftwoman Fernando PIDS was honoured as the ‘Best Goalkeeper’ for her remarkable defensive efforts.
