Sri Lanka Air Force and Rajarata University of Sri Lanka (RUSL) formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Management Faculty of Rajarata University today (09 December 2024), marking a significant collaboration in Training of Non-Commissioned Officers. The Acting Commandant, Group Captain Asela Kuruwita, led the SLAF delegation, while Vice Chancellor, Professor GAS Gingaddara, headed the university representatives.

This MOU aims to enhance the Non-Commissioned Management Course from Certificate level to Diploma level course. The agreement further establishes new heights of learning opportunities to Non Commissioned Officers to train their management skills from University lecturers in addition to the SLAF Instructors.

Distinguished members from RUSL attending the event included Dean Faculty of Management Prof. PMB Jayathilake, Senior Lecturer, Dr. PR Weerathnga and other Officials.

The SLAF delegation included Commanding Officer Ground Training Wing, Group Captain Nirosha Senadheera, Commanding Officer Non Commissioned Officers' Management School, Wing Commander Dinesh Hathurusinghe and Chief Instructor Non Commissioned Officers' Management School, Squadron Leader SMKP Samarakoon.
