SLAF STATION SIGIRIYA ASSISTS TO RENOVATE KALAPURAYA PUBLIC HEALTH MIDWIFE OFFICE

The renovation work of the Sigiriya Kalapura public health midwife office, a collaborative effort between the Sri Lanka Air Force Base Sigiriya and the Sri Lanka Specialist Medical College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, which was commenced on 14 October 2024, was completed and handed over yesterday (10 December 2024).
The event was attended by several key officials, including Commanding Officer of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Sigiriya Group Captain Viranga Premawardana, Provincial Director of Health Services, Dr. Nihal Weerasuriya, Specialist Doctor, Kusal Ranatunga and the Health Officer in Dambulla, Dr. Dayantha Weerasekara.
During the ceremony, the Commanding Officer expressed his continued support and commitment to providing assistance for similar projects in the future. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in enhancing healthcare facilities for the benefit of the community.
