EAGLES’ SKYDIVE DROP ZONE IN KOGGALA RECEIVES USPA AFFILIATED LICENSE

Eagles’ Skydive Drop Zone Koggala, operated by the Sri Lanka Air Force, offers an exhilarating tandem jump experience against the stunning backdrop of Koggala’s coastline. Launched to promote adventure tourism, this initiative combines military precision with exceptional service, ensuring safety and excitement for all participants, with highly trained instructors and breathtaking views from the sky, Eagles’ Skydive provides an unforgettable opportunity for both novices and seasoned jumpers. This venture not only showcase SriLanka’s natural beauty but also aims to strengthen the local economy through adventure sport tourism.

For the first time in history, as a whole Sri Lanka has received an affiliated Drop Zone license from the United States Parachute Association (USPA). The license, named "Eagles' Skydive Drop Zone Koggala, Sri Lanka," authorizes the Sri Lanka Air Force Eagles’ Skydive Club in Koggala.

The Eagles Skydive Drop Zone in Koggala is equipped to facilitate a range of skydiving activities, including Free Fall jumps and Tandem jumps. These operations are supported by versatile aircraft such as the Y-12, Cessna and helicopters, alongside a dedicated technical ground crew, including skilled firefighters, ensuring safety and efficiency during all jumps.

Situated amidst the scenic beauty of Koggala, this Drop Zone offers breathtaking views of pristine beaches and serene lakes, creating an unparalleled experience for jumpers. Furthermore, the location is uniquely accessible via four major routes, the main road, the railway, the runway and the beachfront, making it a highly convenient and attractive destination for adventure enthusiasts.

With its state-of-the-art facilities and picturesque surroundings, the Eagles Skydive Drop Zone stands as a landmark for skydiving in Sri Lanka, blending technical excellence with natural splendor.
