The Sri Lanka Air Force took a significant step forward by introducing newly designed Branch Badges for all Officers, symbolizing their respective professional affiliations. The official ceremony for the pinning of the new badges was held today morning (01 January 2025) at the Air Force Headquarters.

The event was graced by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa who formally pinned the new Branch Badges on the most senior officers of each branch and the members of the Air Force Board of Management. The initiative, aimed at enhancing the professional identity among SLAF officers.
