SLAF Trade training School Ekala celebrated the 54th Anniversary today (02 January 2025) under the directives of the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore Kolitha Abeysinghe. The Formation Day celebration commenced with a parade in which all service personnel took part.
 
In addition, a symbolic tree planting ceremony had been organized to plant “Kumbuk” and “Mee” within the camp premises after the parade. The Commanding Officer, senior officers and a cross section of service personnel actively participated in this eco-initiative.

In line with the anniversary celebration, Cricket and Netball tournaments were held, raising comradery among the service personnel.
