The Change of Command at Regiment Special Forces, SLAF Station Morawewa  held yesterday (05 January 2025) and the traditional handing over/taking over parade was held at Station parade square. The outgoing Commanding Officer, Wing Commander BWTS Bandara USP, MSc (Def & Strat stu), BSc (Mgt), psc handed over the command to Wing Commander R Bastian CQHRM In CIPM, Dip in OSH (NIOSH), HND in HT & D (SLITAD), Dip in Counselling (CAPSOISL).

The new Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Bastian previously served as Officer Commanding Operations Regiment Special Forces at SLAF Station Morawewa.
