The outgoing Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, made the farewell call on the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) at the Ministry premises today (27 January 2025).

After a brief discussion, Air Marshal Rajapaksa conveyed his gratitude for the guidance and support during his tenure and presented the Secretary of Defence with a memento to mark the occasion. Air Vice Marshal Thuyacontha (Retd) also reciprocated with the presentation of a memento to Air Marshal Rajapaksa and praised him for his dedicated and distinguished service to the nation and wished him success in all future endeavors.
