The Sri Lanka Air Force Base Vavuniya held a grand musical show on 07th June 2011 where the famous “Seeduwa Sakura” musical band, performed. This show was organized in order to provide entertainment to personnel of the base as well as the other servicemen around the Vavuniya region.

This event was held under the patronage of the Vavuniya Base Commander, Air Commodore Rohintha Fernando in aid of the welfare activities of the Base.

The SF Commander Vanni, Major General ASK Perera graced the occasion as the Chief Guest where approximately 2500 personnel from Air Force, Army and Police witnessed the event.
