The Change of Command of No. 01 Flying Training Wing, SLAF Academy China Bay was held today (31 January 2025) where Group Captain RMCJK Ratnayake RSP,USP, MSc (Mgt), MSc (Mil Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc, qfi handed over the command to Group Captain TP De Silva USP, qfi who was the former Commanding Officer of No 8 Tactical Transport Squadron SLAF Base Ratmalana. The Handing Over/ Taking Over parade was conducted at the Wing premises.

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain RMCJK Ratnayake will assume duties as the Acting Director Foreign Affairs Air Force Headquarters Sri Jayewardenepura.
