The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, made his first official call on the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Anura Kumara Dissanayake, today (06 February 2025) at the Presidential Secretariat.

This visit signifies the Commander's first official meeting with the President since assuming duties as the 20th Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force. During the ensuing cordial discussion, the President conveyed his best wishes to Air Marshal Edirisinghe on his new appointment as the Commander of the Air Force.

The Commander presented a memento to the President to mark this historical occasion.
