Wing Commander WCM Dayarathne, MSc (Def & Strat stu), Bsc (Mgt), psc handed over the command of the No 8 Tactical Transport Squadron at Sri Lanka Air Force Base Ratmalana to Wing Commander TME Mutaliph RSP and Bar, Msc(MOA)USA, Pg Dip(Def Mgt), Pg dip(IR), psc, qfi yesterday (06 February 2025). The Handing Over Taking Over parade was held at the squadron premises with the participation of squadron personnel.

After assuming the command, Wing Commander TME Mutaliph addressed the squadron personnel expressing gratitude for the opportunity to lead and emphasized the squadron’s continued dedication to excellence and teamwork. He also highlighted the requirement to accomplish the Air Force mission through air power and commended all personnel to continue their duties to safeguard the nation.
