The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, made his first official call on the Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, yesterday (08 February 2025) at the Prime Minister’s office.

This visit signifies the Commander's first official meeting with the Prime Minister since assuming duties as the 20th Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force. During the ensuing cordial discussion, the Prime Minister conveyed her best wishes to Air Marshal Edirisinghe on his new appointment as the Commander of the Air Force.

The Commander presented a memento to the Prime Minister to mark this historical occasion.
