The Change of Command of the Aircraft Overhaul Wing at Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake was held on 13 February 2025. The traditional handing over and taking over parade took place at the Wing premises, where the outgoing acting Commanding Officer Air Commodore MF Jansen  USP, BSc (Def Stu), AMIE (SL), A Eng, Z formally handed over command to Air Commodore WADC Wijesinghe USP, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), BSc (Def Stu), AMIE (SL), A Eng, psc.

Air Commodore WADC Wijesinghe served as the Air Secretary before assuming duties as the Commanding Officer of the Aircraft Overhaul Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake.
