RAFOA MEMBERS CALL ON THE COMMANDER OF THE AIR FORCE

Representatives of the Retired Air Force Officers Association (RAFOA) made a courtesy call on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe today (19 February 2025).

The incumbent President of the Association, Group Captain Kumar Kirinde (Retd), Vice President, Wing Commander Nalin Jayatilleke (Retd), Honorary Secretary, Air Commodore Ayub Jabir (Retd) and Honorary Treasurer, Wing Commander Amal Dias (Retd) visited the Commander and had discussions on matters of mutual interest and also on future measures to develop even better interaction between the Association and the SLAF.

The Retired Air Force Officers Association (RAFOA) was established to provide a collective identity to retired Air Force Officers and to raise continued fellowship between them and serving officers. RAFOA also promotes social activities for retired officers and their spouses and provides a centre with club facilities for its members.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
