The newly established filling station at SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura was officially declared open by the Director General Logistics, Air Vice Marshal Deepal Munasinghe, yesterday (24 February 2025). This facility has been set up to cater to the fuel requirements of SLAF vehicles operating at and visiting the Air Force Headquarters. The station provides Lanka Petrol 92 Octane, Lanka Auto Diesel and Lanka Super Diesel, ensuring a reliable fuel supply for operational and administrative purposes.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura, Air Commodore Manoj Gallappaththi, along with Staff Officers from the Directorate of Logistics and Officers of SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura.
