The Disaster Assistance and Response Team (DART) of the Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School, Diyatalawa, in collaboration with the Disaster Management Center (DMC) Badulla and other relevant agencies, successfully conducted a Hospital Safety Plan and Evacuation Drill at the Central Bus Stand, Bandarawela, yesterday (27 February 2025).

The SLAF DART team, comprising one officer, eighteen airmen and two airwomen, actively participated in the exercise, demonstrating their preparedness and capability in disaster response and emergency evacuation procedures. This initiative aimed to enhance coordination among agencies and ensure the effective execution of safety protocols in crisis situations.
