The second stage of the 26th Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya concluded today (01 March 2025), in Kandy after a route spanning 118.3km. Chamod De Silva, representing the Sri Lanka Police, emerged victorious in this leg of the race.  Avishka Madonza from the Diamond Riders Club secured the second position, followed by Sandaruwan Pinto of the Sri Lanka Army in third place.

Tomorrow,(02 March 2025), the third and final stage of the race will commence at 08:30 a.m. from Kandy. This leg will cover a distance of 155.2km, concluding at Colombo. The Women's race will also start tomorrow from Meerigama and will be finished at Colombo covering a distance approximately 89 km.
