Under the direction of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, as the Sri Lanka Air Force marks its 74th anniversary, a special programme was held yesterday (02 March 2025) for the families of Killed in Action (KIA) and Missing in Action (MIA) SLAF personnel.

In recognition of their service, the SLAF has extended financial and material support to the Next of Kin (NOK) of these fallen heroes. The symbolic donation of cash vouchers and gift packs was carried out at the Air Force Headquarters and the event was graced by the Director General Welfare, Air Vice Marshal Thushara Sirimanne.
