Sri Lanka Air Force Unit BIA, under the patronage of the Commanding Officer, Group captain WWPD Fernando celebrated ‘Poson’ with the participation of all service personnel and their families.
                                  
Celebrations commenced with a Pirith chanting ceremony at the shrine room of the camp and a large model of ‘Mihinthalaya’  was constructed in front of the main guard room where civilians of the vicinity could visit without any hindrance.

A ‘Bodhi Poojawa’ and ‘Bhawana program’ were also conducted at the ‘Bodhirathna Ramaya’ on 17th June  2011 with the participation of the Commanding Officer, Officers, all service personnel and the civilians in the unit and close vicinity.
