EXPLOSIVE ORDINANCE DISPOSAL TRAINING SCHOOL AT SLAF STATION PALAVI CELEBRATES 13TH ANNIVERSARY
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training School at SLAF Station Palavi commemorated its 13th Anniversary today (12 March 2025), under the leadership of the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Sudesh Pushpakumara.
The Commanding Officer reflected on the illustrious history of the EODTS and acknowledged the significant contributions of past and present members over the 13 years of journey. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards across all aspects of the EOD operations as one of the most decorated Training Schools in this organization.
The anniversary celebrations featured a cricket tournament, in which all members of the EOD Training School actively participated.
Inline with the 13th anniversary, the Station’s multi-religious area was renovated and painted on 08 March 2025 with the participation of all members of the training school.
