The SLAF Men’s Team emerged as Champions, while the SLAF Women’s Team secured the runners-up position at the Defence Services Beach Volleyball Championship 2025. The tournament was held from 12 to 14 March 2025, at the SLAF Beach Volleyball Courts in Katunayake.

In the finals, the SLAF Men’s Team triumphed over the Sri Lanka Army with a decisive 2-0 victory, marking their seventh Defence Services Beach Volleyball Championship title. Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Navy Women’s Team secured the championship by defeating the SLAF Women’s Team 2-0.

The event was graced by the Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Vice Marshal Dhammika Dias, who attended as the Chief Guest. Also present were the Director of Sports, Air Commodore Suresh Weerasinghe, the Chairman of SLAF Volleyball, Group Captain Milinda Mendis and senior officers from the Sri Lanka Army and Navy.
