SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura celebrated its 65th Anniversary on 21 March 2025 the celebration commenced with the customary working parade, which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura, Air Commodore MPA Galappaththi.

Following the parade, the anniversary celebrations featured recreational activities, in which  all members of the station actively participated.
