The Change of Command of SLAF Station Weerawila was held today (26 March 2025). The Traditional Handing Over / Taking Over Parade was conducted at the Station Parade Square where the Acting Commanding Officer Squadron Leader HKSA Silva BSc(Avn Stu) handed over the Command to Group Captain WMNN Wanasinghe USP MMS(Mil Com-PRC), Pg Dip( Def Mgt), psc.

The new Commanding Officer, Group Captain WMNN Wanasinghe assumed the office after the completion of  traditional religious observances.
