E&TE WING AT SLAF BASE RATMALANA CELEBRATES 36TH ANNIVERSARY

The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Wing at SLAF Ratmalana proudly celebrated its 36th anniversary upon completing of 36 years of service yesterday (02 April 2025).
Under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain PL Gunawardhana, a Bodhi Pooja was organized at Sri Sambodhi Nugashrama Viharaya in Ratmalana on 01 April 2025 to celebrate this significant milestone. In adherence to tradition, the Working Parade took place at SLAF Base Ratmalana. Additionally, all officers, airmen and airwomen of the wing participated in a tree-planting ceremony. The day's events concluded with an evening gathering at the Aquatic Sports Complex, which was graced by the presence of the Director General of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Air Vice Marshal DBV Weerasinghe, as the chief guest.
