A delegation from the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS), United Kingdom, visited the Air Force Museum at SLAF Base Ratmalana on 20 May 2025 as part of their study tour in Sri Lanka.

During the visit, a presentation was conducted for the delegation highlighting the Museum’s role in preserving SLAF heritage and how it reflects the foreign policy of Sri Lanka.  The delegation then toured the Museum’s exhibits, including historic aircraft and memorabilia.

This visit served to further strengthen the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka.
