The SLAF Wrestling Pool, under the leadership of its Chairman, Air Commodore Erandaka Gunawardena and Secretary, Group Captain Nalin Wewakumbura, organized a charitable initiative at the Apeksha Hospital in Maharagama on 23 May 2025.

The event witnessed the active participation of all male and female wrestlers of the SLAF, who collectively extended their support by offering alms to inpatients currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. In addition to providing meals, the Association also made a generous financial contribution to assist in the procurement of essential medicines for the patients.

This compassionate gesture was warmly received by the hospital staff, patients and their families, highlighting the profound impact of empathy and solidarity during times of adversity.
