The 13th Defence Services Games Bodybuilding Championship was held today (28 May 2025) at the Parakrama Naval Base, Colombo. The competition was organized by the Sri Lanka Navy and judged by a panel of nine judges from the Sri Lanka Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation.

The SLAF bodybuilders delivered an outstanding performance, emerging as the Champions of the Defence Services Bodybuilding Championship for the year 2025/2026. Corporal Liwera WNS was awarded the prestigious title of ‘Mr. Defence’, defeating contenders from the Army and Navy after a closely contested battle.

The SLAF bodybuilders secured a total of four Gold, two Silver and four Bronze medals in the competition.

The event was graced by the Director General of Naval Operations, Rear Admiral Buddika Liyanagamage, as the Chief Guest. Also in attendance were the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation, Mr. Randeer Rodrigo, Chairman of SLAF Bodybuilding, Group Captain Malitha Rangodage, along with other officials and an enthusiastic audience representing the Tri-Forces.
