SLAF STATION MIRIGAMA CELEBRATES 18TH ANNIVERSARY

SLAF Station Mirigama celebrated 18th anniversary yesterday (11 June 2025). The event commenced with the customary working parade, reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain MHMTCK Bandara.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, a blood donation programme was organized in collaboration with the Divisional Secretarial - Divulapitiya on 28 May 2025, In addition to the above, a Shramadhana campaign was conducted at Ward No. 06 of Mirigama Base Hospital on 30 May 2025.
A tree plantation programme was also held on 11 June 2025 within the station premises, contributing to environmental conservation efforts.
The celebrations concluded with a series of sports events, including a friendly cricket tournament and a volleyball tournament, featuring the participation of all service personnel and civilian staff at the station’s sports ground. The event was followed by an all ranks lunch and a Tombola session, raising camaraderie and team spirit among all personnel.
