The Change of Command at the No 01 Air Defence Radar Squadron (No 01 ADRS), SLAF Base Katunayake was held today (16 June 2025). The traditional Handing Over / Taking Over parade took place at the Squadron premises where the outgoing Commanding Officer Wing Commander DRT Mallawaarachchi Msc (Def & Strat Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc handed over the command to Wing Commander PGUN Dharmapala USP, BSc (Def Stu) MTS

Wing Commander  Mallawaarachchi will be proceeding to SLAF Station Meerigama, where he will be assuming duties as the Officer Commanding Operations.
