Sri Lanka Air Force became Champions at the 5th Hero Cup Challenger Trophy Wrestling Tournament 2011 with 03 gold, 09 silver and 12 bronze medals yesterday (10th July 2011) at the NM Perera Community centre Wanathamulla.

The championship was held from 8th July to 10th July 2011 with the participation of 250 male and over 50 female competitors. SLAF has secured the Championship title four times out of five since 2007.

The Chief Assistant Secretary to the President, Mr. Sepala Rathnayake graced the occasion as the Chief Guest whilst Member of Parliament R Duminda Silva were also among the distinguished guests.
